Significant, far off visible element of the Kunsthalle Mainz is the 7degree inclined  tower, with its facade out of translucent, green glass. Integrated into ahistoric building formation from the end of the 19th century, the tower is the highly visible symbol for the new interpretation of the Rhineharbour district. The Kunsthalle has 900squaremeters of exhibition space. Completely illuminated ceilings throw light on three halls of different heights in the historic part, enabling various lightning moods.
